In Quiet Freedom you learned about how mirrors lie to us. On this page we will be talking more about how to construct your own mirror, which doesn't lie to you.
The cheapest and easiest thing to do is to look online or in your phone book directory (yellow pages) for a mirror shop. You are looking to have them cut two FRAMELESS mirrors that you are going to hold on a table at a NINETY DEGREE angle. They won't cost very much. If you have the budget and space, you might consider two FULL LENGTH FRAMELESS mirrors.
The best way to determine the size you want before ordering is to hold two 8.5 x 11 (US letter) or 8.5 x 14 (US legal), or A4 pieces of paper and hold them at a ninety degree angle. Then you can cut and staple more paper to find the optimal size that you would care to handhold. Just remember the mirrors will weigh more.
If you are adept at shaping and cutting wood blocks, you could create your own mount or have someone you know do it.
If you don't have the time or want a professional version, go to www.truemirror.com and buy one off there or click True Mirror, 12 x 12 Inches, Black to buy from Amazon. The mirrors in the True Mirror product are each about 7" wide x 10" tall. A larger size mirror will probably work better.
